“Yeah, guys are jerks like that, seriously,” she said, nodding. “Women are always the lower one, being underestimated by males. And males—- well, i can’t say more about them. Just boys being boys.”
“It can’t be helped. Even gods abused other gods,” speaking of her own ‘family’, it happens a lot. Like Hera to Hephaestus. Seriously, that’s just horrible. Just because he is ugly , he had to endure that? She would never do that to her own children in the future.
“The world is harsh, you need to be strong in order to survive.”
✿ —— “One day, misogyny is going to be eradicated!” Optimism shined in the depths of her eyes. “There are some who are gentlemen, though. You have to give them credit.”
“Ah—do you mean Greek mythology? I’ve always been interested in those. But I don’t know much.”

“I think there is hope for the world. But yes, you’re right.” She extended her right hand. Her gaze traveled over the stranger; she radiated beauty. An urge to paint the girl made her fingers twitch restlessly, but other than that there was no indication. “My name is Hayasaka Akari.”
?:
“Sure, ” she said. “But the girls needs to earn that. If you’re stupid, doesnt have a degree, well of course your husband is going to underestimate you for the rest of your life. But if you are an independent woman, you have money and a house; no matter what, your husband is not going to hurt you or underestimating you anymore.”
she shrugged.
“Do you know why women stays ‘strong’ even though their husbands abuse her?” she asks. “Some says because of their kids. But some says because they need their husband in order to stay alive. In all honesty, if you’re smart enough and have money, you’ll leave the husband. Take your kids and leave.”
✿ —— “It’s quite sad, actually. In a perfect world, no woman will be looked down upon because of her gender. But since this isn’t a perfect world, you have to be all that,” she said. “I’m not saying I’m against being successful and independent. In fact, that’s a good thing!”

A sigh. “But I just wish that people could not abuse other people. Even if a person isn’t all that, they’re still a human being.” She knew people could do it if they tried! Yet, a lot of her peers said that she always saw the best in others. Maybe too much…
“But yes, I do agree. It’s always good to be independent, especially with this world we live in.”
?:
“It’s either to kill or to be killed, huh? Well, I had to learn that in a hard way,” she said, nodding. “Because if we are not strong enough, people would look down to us. Literally. But seriously, girls, be independent. ”

✿ —— “It’s the twenty-first century.” An earnest nod of agreement was sent in the other girl’s direction. “It’s really about time that people start respecting girls more." Generally she was a very mild-mannered person, but hearing misogynistic comments always made her tick.
